Innocent Laughter

When was the last time you laughed your heart out? Not at some silly joke but really felt light after it. I can't remember any recent event that made me feel that way. Any event which does come to my mind, dates back to my childhood. This question crept on my mind when I was sitting in the train today. A lady and her son entered the compartment at Sion. Like any other child, this boy was adorable. But the thing that struck me was his laughter. At nothing particular, he was laughing his heart out. Laughter which actually twinkled in his eyes. His laughter was so damn infectious. In a few seconds, ladies with nothing connecting them to one another had found something in common. A SMILE. It just took a two year old's :) to vanish all our troubles. It was then I realised the power of a smile. It is a link which connects us all. You just have to smile to make some stranger's day. For a second, he may wonder 'why was she smiling at me?' But it may just make his troubles vanish for a minute. Worth the effort surely!
